Psalms 96:1 “Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.”

The Evangel music ministry is made up of band members/instrumentalists, the choir, and the praise team. The Evangel Choir/ Praise Team leads the church in spirited, God-focused worship. The team also leads the church in exuberant and high energy praise sessions. Additionally, the choir ministers to the congregation through song ministry that brings edification, comfort and inspiration to the soul.  They also minster at special events throughout the Greater Atlanta Metro Area.

Psalms 144:12: “May our sons flourish in their youth like well-nurtured plants. May our daughters be like graceful pillars, carved to beautify a palace”

ICGC Evangel youth also known as the Omega Generation is focused on raising a new generation of Christian youth that are growing in their faith and committed to walking and living by the principles of God’s Word. This ministry works to help the youth get firmly rooted in their faith, have a growing personal relationship with Christ, and prepare them to properly integrate into adult life.

I Corinthians 14:40 “Let all things be done decently and in order.”

The Evangel ushers are the first group of people you will meet when you come to Evangel Temple. They are eager to receive you with excitement and warmth. It is their desire to serve you in every way to make your worship experience a meaningful and pleasant one.  They execute their duties with love, care, poise, and excellence. They seat members and guests receive the tithe and offerings, serve the communion, and facilitate the smooth running of church service.

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.”

This ministry nurtures children of all ages and teaches them who Jesus is and how to follow Him. The needs of children are ministered to by ensuring that they grow in their day to day walk with God and His word through music and drama. They are also encouraged to cultivate the habit of witnessing to other children to give their lives to Christ. The ministry combine fun activities with strong biblical instruction.

Acts 12:5 “… prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God…”

The intercessory ministry is the “ministry behind the ministry.” Prayer is the hand that moves the church and the world. The intercessors pray for the leaders and all members of Evangel Temple, our community, and the world. Biblical instructions are offered to equip people who have a desire and passion in this direction.

John 9:4 “I must work the works of him that sent me”

The Evangel Professional Network comprises of individuals between ages 21-45 employed throughout the Greater Atlanta Metropolitan Area. We provide opportunities to build each other up spiritually and professionally; and work collectively to advance themselves and the church.

The media ministry employs multiple media resources to carry out the vision of the church. The media ministry also produces, manages and distributes all media resources of the church to include Christian literature, music CDs, recorded messages, and other items to help a believer mature in their faith.

John 5:39:  “Search the scriptures”

This ministry’s primary goal is to guide lay Christians to spiritual maturity and assist leaders in developing lives worth emulating. It is responsible for the development of biblically based Christian Education/Sunday School materials for Sunday and weekday instruction as well as discipleship and maturity classes for members.

Mark 16:15 “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

This is the outreach wing of the church with a commitment to reach our community with the Gospel. This ministry seeks to raise a generation of Christians that are bold, passionate, and determined to be witnesses of Christ. Areas of ministry include hospital visitation; shelters; universities/colleges; personal evangelism; prisons; medical outreach etc.

Proverbs 11:14 “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.”

Offers private sessions, marital, pre-marital counseling from a Christian perspective.

Psalms 68:8 “God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.”

The care network is a system of small groups in the church designed to connect members to one another in fellowship outside of Sunday service. Fellowshipping with other Christians in a small group setting has been demonstrated to provide spiritual, emotional, and physical benefits to members.

Evangel’s Care Network seeks to help achieve the following:
• Provide pastoral care, personal attention, and sense of belonging;
• Provide opportunities for members to discover and use their talents and spiritual gifts;
• Provide opportunities for Christian maturity and leadership among the church community and in God’s house;
• Provide opportunity for members to learn to share, give and care for one another; and,
• Provide opportunities to live the Christian faith and grow to serve in the Lord
